Imagine what it would feel like to move about with ease.

You could stroll through the park with your spouse. Take your dog for a walk around the block. Play soccer with your kids. You want to live a healthy life that lets you do all these things. And the only thing that’s stopping you from is constant leg pain.

But did you know that your leg pain may mean more than what you think?

One of the most common causes of leg pain is restricted blood flow due to Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
Most people don’t know they have PAD, the silent “Quality of Life Thief”. But it is possible to detect it early, heal and prevent the trauma of limb loss.

You don’t have to continue living in constant pain when you move. And it starts with arming yourself with the RIGHT information.

If you are ready to take charge of your health, find out if you have PAD and even reverse the symptoms of leg pain, this FREE Summit is for you.

September is National PAD Awareness Month

With PAD contributing to more than half of all preventable amputations due to lack of early detection, we’re building a community of passionate experts, doctors and testimonials of patients that will inspire us to take action NOW to end leg pain and risk factors.

PAD is one of the most underdiagnosed conditions in the US.

Nearly 18 million people suffer from it,  unaware of its dangerous build-up of blockage or plaque in the arteries of the legs. PAD is a progressive disease that takes years to progress. It’s seen most in people over age 50with symptoms ranging from leg pain, cramping when walking, leg numbness and tingling to color changes in the legs.

As PAD progresses, patients are more likely to develop wounds that can’t be healed. This is due to insufficient blood flow to the feet and calves from plaque build-up in the arteries. Most patients are unaware due to lack of early education in conventional medicine, So when the disease is left untreated, it may develop into gangrene that will likely lead to amputation.
But there is hope! A community of passionate doctors, healthcare professionals, experts and patient advocates has come together from across North Texas to bring a wealth of information on PAD. We’ll also be sharing their stories of transformation in this FREE online summit that is sure to empower you to take action and take back control of leg health!

She is a nationally-recognized expert on Latino health outreach and the integration of faith-based approaches to health and wellbeing. She has over 25 years of experience as a marketing consultant and nonprofit leader and has developed trusted brands for Latinos through her health conferences, retreats and online outreach and education.

Maria del Carmen has a special interest in Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) and how functional medicine approaches can lead people into prevention, early intervention and even reversal. When she was diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroiditis years ago, she saw the limits of what conventional approaches can do for chronic disease. By seeking other options for herself, she found how new interventions and functional lifestyle approaches go to the root of the disease. Her mission is to take what she’s learned and provide resources, strategies and hope for patients to take charge of their own well-being.
